eReadUps on your Kindle The eReadUps service works very nicely with Amazon’s approach to loading books on the Kindle. If you are using the free version of the site, just download books from the Congratulations page by pressing the “Download Kindle” button once your book has been created. Then connect your Kindle with the USB cord to the computer where you downloaded the book and drag the book into the “Documents” folder on the Kindle. Next, eject your Kindle from the computer, and your new eReadUp will appear on the home page in your list of books. With Kindle, though, it is easy to load your book wirelessly; just email it to the Kindle email address you were assigned when you registered your Kindle (available on your Manage My Kindle page at Amazon). Just put that email address into the box on the Congratulations page, check the Kindle box, and hit send. The book will appear in your home screen list of books once the service has had a few minutes to send and receive the book. |
